There is this cartoon that aired back in the early 90s and I have no idea what it is called.?
I just remember a man--he could have been a professor or doctor [I just remember him wearing a lab coat] and there was a round little boy who would follow him around--im unsure if that was his son -or- not--the only thing I remember the boy doing was blowing a bubble....sorry for the vague memory, but if you have ANY information at all, pray tell....:]

Johnny Quest!
He was a young boy in the early 90s cartoon, which was actual re-runs of the 70s/80s cartoon.
I could be wrong if I am misinterpreting you description.
