Any way to not get a stomach ache when drinking?

Whenever I do shots or something, I always get a stomach ache but never get drunk. Is there a way to avoid feeling sick?

I usually do shots of hard liquor like vodka or jin, never tied anything like liquor and dont really drink much beer.

Always eat a decent sized meal and have at least 3 glasses of water in you before you even think about touching a drink. Don't forget to take your time after each shot you take. After one shot, don't touch another after 30 minutes, rinse and repeat.

That is rule 101 of drinking, especially if it's liquor. In time, you'll be able to take a shot after 15 minutes or so once your body gets the hang of it.

I'm actually enjoying a glass of Powers on the rocks as we speak, haven't gotten sick in nearly over 10 years ever since I followed this guideline. But I guess that's partly due to drinking every once in a while, your body will build a type of tolerance all on his own.

Source(s): Irish Whiskey, Tequila, and Bourbon drinker. I don't care for beer at all neither.
