Do the media intentionally stir up racial hatred?
Ever heard of a kid named Dillon Taylor?
He was a white kid, 20 years old, who was killed by a black cop on August 11. This happened two days after Michael Brown was killed.
Dillon Taylor seems to be a young man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was leaving a 7-11 convenience store. Officers were in the area because there was a report of a man with a gun.
Taylor had headphones in and did not hear the police when they asked him to lay down on the ground.
Taylor, unfortunately, reached into his pocket, for a cell phone, and that was the last thing he ever did. He had no gun. He did not rob any stores. He did not assault a police officer.

Just their presence incites folks to "do their thing" in front
of cameras. I think riots in Missouri would not have lasted
even eleven days had there been no news media rolling
their lights and cameras.

To sell their product, of course.
This case seems virtually identical in terms of police feeling they have the right to take a life in VERY
questionable circumstances.
There is a major difference, however, in the accuracy of the police reports.
The Salt Lake City police officer who shot 20-year-old Dillon Taylor outside a convenience store last week was wearing a body camera.
The other policeman had his camera left new in a box at the station.
This should have no bearing on news worthiness though.

Oh but yes. In a competitve news industry, they want to ride the wave as long and as far as they can. It's all about ratings and numbers. They'll even make stuff up to stoke the ill informed. If it wasn't for the media in Ferguson, there wouldn't have been the rioting and looting.

I don't know if this actually happens, but on an episode of "The Newsroom" in the first season, they mentioned an agent who specialized in publicizing tragedies. Maybe that's why.

In asking your question, YOU and your own media source are 'intentionally stirring up racial hatred'. His race and the officer's race have nothing to do with the overzealousness of the officer's actions.......just as in Missouri. Yes, I've heard of him. His family and friends have been on multiple news outlets calling for justice for his unnecessary killing.

Perhaps this is not an intentional thing. But in the struggle for money, this does appear to be the outcome.

White people really have it rough in America. All of those calls for job interviews, higher average pay, higher life expectancy, and living in safer neighborhoods. It certainly is rough for whites in America.

the genital Giant had his hands up, that is all you need to know, the only reason he died 2 feet from the white guy defending his life is because he did not make it close enough to take out his other eye.
