Should I get my belly button pierced?

I'm sixteen years old and I want to know if I should get my belly button pierced. I've loved them since I learned what they were, but I didn't want to get one when I was too young. The only problem is that I'm afraid of what people will think as belly button piercings seem to be make people think of sluts. I don't want to be thought of in that way. I wouldn't go around wearing crop tops all the time and the only time anyone would see it would be when I'm in my bikini.

Also, if one day I decided to take it out, would it leave an ugly scar? Or would it be barely noticeable?

If you really want to then go for it! :) I've had my belly button pierced for over a year now and I've been obsessed with it ever since! My only regret is that I didn't get it done sooner.

I don't think people will consider you a ѕlut for having a belly button ring. No one has ever referred to me as slutty for as long as I've had mine. In fact, I've received quite the handful of compliments on my piercing. Some of my friends who don't have one themselves love looking at mine and love it when I wear dangly belly rings, some even ask if they can touch it, lol. Even my mom, she loved how my belly button ring looked so much, she got one herself!

And I love wearing crop tops and outfits that show my belly button yet no one has ever considered my slutty. My belly button piercing has been nothing but a big boost in confidence for me and I'm willing to bet it will turn out to be one for you too. Might even encourage you to wear more crop tops so you can show off. ;P

But in the end, who really cares what other people think? All that matters is if you want the piercing and will love having it. Be yourself, do what you want and don't listen to what anyone else might have to say about it. Especially if they're gonna be so nasty and judgmental that they'll call you a ѕlut for having a piercing. That should be all the more reason to disregard how what they think!

As for it leaving a scar, so long as you take care of it so it doesn't get infected, you shouldn't have to worry about it leaving a big scar. If you removed after it's healed, it's kinda hard to determine whether or not it will leave a scar. Some piercing close up all the way without leaving any marks, some close up but just leave a tiny dot of a scar and some never close up. It would all depend on how your body would heal but that's something you should worry about if you ever do get it pierced and decide to remove it.

All in all, you totally should get your belly button pierced if you want to. It might hurt getting the piercing and you may or may not get some negative attention from it but in the end, I'm sure it will all be worth it. Good luck! :)

If you want one, go get it. I got mine at 16 too and it was the best thing I've ever done. If you really want it, you wouldn't care what other people think of you. It doesn't make you a ****. How can a piercing make you a **** ?! Go for it. It will look fab :)

If you want to get your belly button pierced, go for it. :) I wear crop tops a lot and I get looks but honestly who cares? It's your body and you can do whatever you want. Don't let what people may think cause you to not get it pierced. I've had mine pierced for almost 3 months now and I love it. Tbh I can't even picture me without it now. If you decide to take it out, it will close up and you will most likely have a scar. My aunt got hers done a while back and she told me she still has her scar from hers, so you'll probably have one, too, but I don't think it looks too bad! But just heads up, if you do get it pierced just make sure you take VERY good care of it because there is a possibility it can get infected and you don't want that to happen. I haven't had problems with mine and I started slacking off cleaning it maybe a month after I got it done (but you still should do it) just to be safe!

Get one! And don't care what others think, its your body! The scar is hardly noticable when taken out and people would only see it if u showed it to them and they looked hard lol.

I have mine done and have loved it since i got it 2 yrs ago
