Can I present a high school I.D. when using an credit card in a store?
So I have an American Express Serve Card, which is a reloadable prepaid card. It's treated as a credit card and since I'm not of age to have an actual credit card, I don't have any license of any sort. If asked for identification when using my card in-store, can I use a high school student I.D.?

No. Of course not.
Official government issued photo ID is a drivers license, passport or state ID card (in USA.
School ID is unofficial. It means nothing in the adult financial world.
If you don't have a drivers license, ask at the place where drivers licenses are issued (department of motor vehicles or secretary of state or whatever it's called in your place, and apply for a state ID card.

I would say yes try it. I am a parent that has given the visa prepaid card to my son too. It has his name on it also. So since i wont allow him to carry around his passport for id i tell him to use the school id if asked.

"American Express Serve© Accounts available to U.S. residents who are over 18 years old only "
Give the card to your parent. You were never allowed to have it.
