Your reaction on the new isolation protocol in 3 states?

I have heard that there are now 3 states that are requiring healthcare workers returning from Africa to undergo mandatory isolation for 21 days. This is more strict than the CDC has. Do you agree?

Update:

This would be mandatory quarantine. Where will they be housed and who is paying for this? Should these workers be unduly punished for another 3 weeks for a mandatory quarantine unable to see family, friends and do normal everyday activities? Will it discourage others from volunteering? I don't think enough thought has gone into this. A story in the news already has 1 nurse go through this and her story is scary at best - she is showing no symptoms.

Dumb Idea. We should be ENCOURAGING Doctors to go to Africa to fight the Ebola Epidemic... -NOT Discouraging Them from Coming Back !! :o

Yes, and more, along with the esteemed British medical journal 'The Lancet' and UN 'WHO'. That travelers not even be allowed to leave those west African countries in epidemic, till everyone of those prospective travelers spends 21 days in quarantine there in Africa in US, WHO, CDC, UN quarantine, before being allowed departure from Africa and world travel.

The health worker right this second is in paper robe, locked in area outside the hospital..in tent

    She has NO ebola....

I see she will have case to sue for false lock up

Nonsense and very upset a dem was involved in decision...can see why Gop would be the like to use fear against others..but why did gov of NY...it is BS

sane people must stop this nonsense

It is a reasonable request and until there is a better course of action to take, it is a prevention of further expenses to isolate an exponentially LARGER demography composed of the people those original workers have intermingled with.

This is a cost cutting measure.

It doesn't matter if I agree or not. The media is too good at making the majority of the public fearful and compliant for any protocols to be put in place. The stricter and more expensive the better.
