Why do people that say that their answer is logical or constantly say they are a logical individual seem to display the opposite trait?
@judy: No. When it comes to opinions, I understand that people have different opinions (but then again opinions are different from facts). However, when it comes to facts and someone says something contrary to the facts, then I doubt the claim made by the other person (in which they say they are logical or using logic to come to their conclusion).

Logic is one of those things that most people think they have a firm grasp of, but very few people have actually read up on how it works. What I think ends up happening is they define logic by the "Does it agree with my ideas." test, which is obviously not a reliable test.
I've only known one person who claims to be highly logical but seems to have no idea how to apply logic. She is very frustrating.
