What is it called when Parents say things like this?
No matter what help there kid has done, no matter how much work they have done, there parent will demand they do something and when they don't do it right away they say something like, "I don't know why you don't do it right as I tell you! If I was dying on the floor you till wouldn't do it!"
And all they want you to do is pick up a few clothes or take a plate in to the kitchen.
What that called?
Perhaps I should explain. I'm an adult, I'm not a child. When my mother went to the hospital for a month I cared for her elderly mother, feeding her, doing laundry, and washing dishes, as well as going to the grocery store. When she returned home I continued doing these things for another two months as she was still sick when she returned home. I took care of her and her needs and did everything on very little food and sleep. My whole life my family has used death to intimidate me, it's wrong.
And when I say Adult, I mean mid late 20's, who's taking care of her older family member's for the last 10 years.
