being a film editor is tough. You have to volunteer and start small to gain popularity and skill. I recommend taking a class/summer camp doing it, watch some youtube tutorials and start advertising yourself. For college/university you'll need to take english 30-1, social 30-1, maybe math 30-1, as well as a grade 12 option, preferably art or communication technology. Try talking to your high school councilor about what universities and colleges offer the program. Ontario has very good ones.
