Why can't Christians take an objective look at God's works?
I am just trying to understand how people that are believers are unable to look objectively at some of the negative stuff God.
Please don't give me justifications, cop outs, or the "God's magnificent plan" argument. I want a real answer.

Most people cannot take an objective look at their own fantasy until they give up the fantasy. You are asking for something that very few can accomplish. The objective perspective usually destroys the fantasy.
I have only heard a few believers answer this honestly and that was with "I don't know".

what makes you think we don't .
You seem to think that we humans can out think god as you don't want any answers that state we humans don't understand gods plan. Man has done many thing in the name of God that we perceive as evil but that is man not God doing those things .

Since you reject any justification...
it seems apparent that what you mean by "take an objective look at God's works" is "agree with my opinion regarding God's works".
If your "objective look" is, indeed, objective and not subjective, just lay it out. Lay out the objective analysis and allow Christians to respond. If it is, indeed, objective, no reasonable response should be possible. You should easily persuade most of us to agree with you with such an objective look on display.

By 'unable to look objectively' I assume you to mean 'not blindly think like I do'.
Why don't you post one or two of these 'negative stuff God', as you put it, since I cannot think of anything negative to reply to.

objective would mean to assess them with what sort of lens. If the principal of blessing for good and retribution for evil is God given than perhaps you are the one who is not looking at things objectively but putting your own flawed value system over the events in the scriptures. You may have many right ideals and be a good person but putting yourself of judge over God is a big undertaking. The scriptures have a lot to say about the greatest time of judgment and God's hand in the affairs of man at the end of the age called the tribulation and we see a very specific scenario for equally specific reasons that brings this time of sorrow and grief upon the earth. I do not know if you are saying god must not exist because you judge him evil or that God is evil.
The events related to the tribulation go a long way back as the death of Messiah was to come before the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple and then the entire nation was to be scattered into all the rest of the world. This is spoken of by many prophets including Moses. Israel is spoken to be regathered as a nation and Jerusalem at the center of global conflict and the target of severe wars. Israel went from 70 Ad to 1948 without being a nation. They are there. The other aspects include the rebuilding of the temple and the return of animal sacrifices and the outer courts of the temple are promised to be given to the Gentiles. Well the temple institute has replicated everything necessary to resume the sacrifices and they have trained priest ready and plans and the budget to built the temple. This also coincides with a one world government or world order as the politicians keep talking about. If you know nothing about UN agenda 21 and the IMF becoming a global central bank you might look into it as the world is one major financial crisis from becoming a total collapse on a world level. This will lead to the rising of the Phoenix out of the ashes and the NWO order coming in.
Also there is a global world religion and very much like the Masons all paths will merge under a social gospel of coexist, tolerance, peace, safety, equality, and what have you. Those who teach repentance from sin and believe the scriptures will be seeing this as the rise of the kingdom of anti christ and will be persecuted. Anyways my point is these plagues are coming and for the very reasons God says He brings retribution in the 1st place. His goal is that some will repent and after the earth is destroyed from departing from God Jesus returns and brings world peace, equity and justice and heals the earth. All the hollow promises man tried to achieve apart from God are brought in by Jesus as king of kings.
These events are so clearly forming now that you may have a 1st hand chance to look at Gods work is you can survive the 1st act. I know Gods mercy and grace and love and see it is freely offered to all. What I deserve Christ took for me and offers me peace with God through his eternal spirit. This is offered to you a sinner deserving nothing and you would accuse God of being severe when you has reached into time and put forth Jesus as salvation to any no matter what they have done the grace of God can overcome it. The message is to repent from evil and love God. This is not a complex message and not an offensive one. The bad stuff happens do to sin.

God can do anything he wants. He is the only one who can without being evil. All the excuses people have for whatever their sacred cow happens to be I have seen time and time again. They make excuses for their own and others bad behavior, but God is the only one who can do bad things to people and still be without sin.
So, you can choose whoever you think is right about everything, can do no wrong, and I can choose mine. I happen to choose God, because I understand he can see what he is doing more than anyone else can see what they are doing.

Real answer. Man is the cause of all the world's ills, not God.

Its because everyone cookie ice cream.
And NEVER the vegetables.
The make excuse and forget the horrors
Examples:
"Moses free the slaves and taught us morals"
Your Moses is a rapist
" Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the people went to meet them outside the camp. But Moses was furious with all the military commanders who had returned from the battle. "Why have you let all the women live?" he demanded. "These are the very ones who followed Balaam's advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the LORD at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD's people. Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves."
Numbers 31:7-18 NLT
"The Old Testament was a savage God. God is a better person now"
NO Look at New Testament
"So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. (From the NIV Bible, Revelation 2:22-23)"
Hell look at slavery
Even Jesus shows little pity
Jesus is recorded as mentioning slaves in one of his parables. It is important to realize that the term "servant" or "maid" in the King James Version of the Bible refers to slaves.
Here, a slave which did not follow his owner's will would be beaten with many lashes of a whip. A slave who was unaware of his owner's will, but who did not behave properly, would also be beaten, but with fewer stripes.
Jesus DID NOT condemn he institution of slavery. Luke 12:45-48
Ephesians 6:5-8 (NASB): Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ;"
Timothy 6:1-2 (NASB) "All who are under the yoke as slaves are to regard their own masters as worthy of all honour so that the name of God and our doctrine will not be spoken against"
he passages concerning slavery from the Pentateuch (e.g. Exodus 21:2-7, Leviticus 25:44-46), by contrast, provide guidelines that allow for slavery to continue indefinitely.
Next excuse "We have history to back it up"
NO
The bible IS NOT historically accurate
Jericho fell many years before the Hebrew's supposedly left the Egypt.
Another example is the fact that pre-roughly; the 7th century BCE there was a city near Nazareth. But around that time it fell and only until about 200 AD; did anyone record anything about, a new city at that location. During the time of Jesus (and for about 200 year after him and about 700 year before him) there was no record of the city of Nazareth.
Joshua’s conquest and destruction of the Canaanite city of Ai.
According to Joshua 8, Israelite forces attacked Ai. Burned it AND “utterly destroyed all the inhabitants,” (vs:26-28). Extensive archaeological work at the site of Ai, however, has revealed that the city was destroyed and burned around 2400 B. C., which would have been over a thousand years before the time of Joshua.
next excuse "We have eye witnesses"
They have NONE!
The tombs of Jesus's followers are never recorded in roman history.
Final excuse "Look at what Christianity has done for the world"
Yes lets look
The crusades have provided some of the most frequent arguments against the Christian faith.
The chief evil of the Crusades was the belief that military aggression can serve the spread of Christianity and that the sword can sometimes be more efficient than the word in the presentation of the Gospel. They lent support, too, to the idea that the robbery, torture, or murder of a someone whose religious beliefs were there own.
War is always a brutal and destructive and the Crusaders who clam to be loving bible followers did not differ much from there animality.
And the nazis
- Adolf Hitler, to General Gerhard Engel, 1941
"And the founder of Christianity made no secret indeed of his estimation of the Jewish people. When He found it necessary, He drove those enemies of the human race out of the Temple of God; because then, as always, they used religion as a means of advancing their commercial interests. But at that time Christ was nailed to the Cross for his attitude towards the Jews; whereas our modern Christians enter into party politics and when elections are being held they debase themselves to beg for Jewish votes. They even enter into political intrigues with the atheistic Jewish parties against the interests of their own Christian nation. "
Do I need to talk about the KKK?
