What does my cat want when she taps me?
I know that cats will tap you if they want attention but I can't figure out what mine wants. I've tried giving her snacks, playing with her, petting her, cleaning her litter box, but no matter what I do she keeps coming back. I don't know what to do. Any ideas are appreciated.

When is she tapping you?
My kitty does this at night and it means he wants under the covers (: lol
But if it's during the day she probably just wants attention, try cuddling with her, just let her sit on your lap while you watch TV and stroke her. (:
I've always liked cats that want attention, they're not so boring and you build good relationships with them.

my cat totally does this all the time, and it can be confusing. cats are strange animals, and i feel that they always want attention, but when you give it to them they suddenly turn into batman and walk away...anyways, she probably wants straight up attention, so i would squat down and talk to her, nicknames and stuff, also make sure that her necessities are up to date and what not, water clean/full and food dish full if needed. maybe she just wants to run around, so like try running across the room quickly and calling her name, or maybe she just wants to cuddle so lay down, call her over and pet her in her favorite spot. if her tail is straight up and wagging she is a happy happy cat, so maybe she just wanted to show that by saying hello. also, if you were upstairs with her, then went downstairs to make a sandwich, she maybe wanted to come down and just say hello/make sure you were there and whatnot to make herself comfy/reassure herself everythings ok. if shes using her claws, invest in a scratching post...hope this could help? my cat does this too, kinda cute:)
