Self Esteem?
Hi, I understand that everyone has positive qualities. Example: you might be a good writer, and you feel good about that until.. you see someone else with a better life than you, and that person is better at writing, and is Younger.
I do this comparing thing to myself and well, it's really hurting my self worth(if I really AM worth anything).
I mean, I can always be replaced, you can tell me I'm special and batter me with complements and I will BELIEVE it until I see you tell someone else the exact same thing, that they are special, too...
Is this wrong? What is the truth.
Also is there any way to be worth anything like, my accomplishment(but I feel through this way it wont be enough. So it must mean I lack intelligance IDK

I completely understand what you mean. I love drawing and I want to be either an artist or an author, but then I met this girl a year younger than me who can draw a million times better and I wanted to cry. I met this other girl who knows more about art than I do, and she's more than a year younger than me... It seriously, truly upset it.
The thing is, if someone compliments you, chances are they're being honest. I mean, I wouldn't go up to someone and be like, "Wow, you're a really good singer! You're amazing, I love your voice!" when in reality I think they sound exactly like that bunny did as my cat killed it (that was a horrifying sound). You should accept the compliment, always believe it. Yes, they are likely to say it to others too because there's more than one amazing person in this world.
There is always someone that is going to be better than you. Oh well, it's just going to be like that. Instead of worrying about it and locking your self esteem down low in the basement, think positively and pick it up. They may be better, but that just gives you more reason to try. Try harder and you'll be better, and possibly the best. You never know.
Don't ever think you're not worth anything. You do not lack intelligence, you are smart, no matter who you are.
I wish you luck in your life. (: Remember that you're amazing at all that you do! As long as it's not, y'know, discrimination, bullying, drugs, crime or murder... then, y'know, don't do that. That's bad.

You don't lack intelligence you just need to realize that nobody is quite like you and that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. Those people who may seem better may have worked extremely hard to get there and if you work that hard too (which you probably do) then i'm sure other people envy you for having that motivation. So stay positive and work hard and then you won't need to compare yourself to other people because they'll be comparing themselves to you!
