For muslims: is objecting to cartoons blasphemous?

Since the reason for not drawing Mohammed is to ensure he is not taking away from Allah, a kind of idolatry, presumably that means that making a cartoon of him important is blasphemous. If it isn t, why is there one rule for the person who draws and another who idolizes?

Here's the odd thing. Muslims don't even believe Mohammed is God. They say he is the prophet. We Christians believe Jesus is God and Charlie Hebdo (and others) made cartoons of Jesus all the time. We didn't want to go Jihad on them. We Christians will even say sometimes, "God is big enough to take care of himself. He doesn't need me to protect him."

So this does not make any sense whatsoever. I think Middle Eastern families just have more psychotic anti-social personalities then other ethnic groups. Maybe Middle-Easter culture tends to point men in the direction of psychotic antisocial personality. I have heard that Middle Eastern men can have shame, but have no sense of personal guilt.

That's just racist BS. The issue is that the *religion*, not the race, informs the actions of the extremists. They are a tiny minority of the 1.8Bn muslims worldwide (not just mid-East), and my point was that their actions are in themselves blasphemous according to their religion. Just to be sure you understand: it's about religion, not about people's ethnicity/race.
