Is this a scam or nah?

Hi, so I use OkCupid and a couple days ago I started talking to a girl on there and got her private email address. We planned on meeting up the same day, but she said I needed to fill out "dating arrangements" first. I asked her what that meant and she said that it's a way for her to feel more safe when meeting new people online and that it would contact the authorities if anything happened to her. Perfectly understandable and I was happy to go along with it.

She gave me the instructions on how to fill it out and she said that I need to sign up with hookup.com and get a 1 month gold membership, which is 30 bucks normally, but she said it is free and that after I put in my credit card info it would redirect to a second screen where I could check VERFIY ONLY and not get charged.

Now I am skeptical about this cuz it all doesn't seem to make much sense and of course I have to put in my card info with no confirmation that I really won't be charged. She responded like a normal person and didn't seem like a bot for the site at all. Also she has a google plus account with friends so I'm pretty sure she's real. Of course she could be on the payroll for the site. And that's what I need your opinion on. Does this sound like a scam, or could it really be legitimate? Has this thing happened before and been proven to be a scam? Thanks!

Update:

Though I'm almost certainly convinced it's a scam, I thought i'd add the fact that she said that the card info is for "citizenship verification only."

That's a scam. no real girl does this. Those scammers are on every dating site. Report her profile and cut off all contact

There is no girl.,it's a scam to get you to sign up for a premium rate porn site billing $300/month for the next 36 months with. I way to cancel. My brother fell for the EXACT same scam on OK Cupid and the bank said they can't reverse the charges because he signed up for the site without reading the terms. And he has since been contacted by 4 other girls all wanting him to do the same thing

No site asks for a credit card unless they are charging you

A real girl would just meet you at a Starbucks on a Saturday afternoon, she would never make you sign up for any site. Those are always scams

I think this sounds sketchy to me. I've done online dating and I wouldn't tell someone that I needed to do all this stuff before meeting up for a date. I would just do it. It's odd that she gave you such details on how to do it for her. And can't you just tell a friend or a family member "I'm meeting this guy Lydia Snow, e-mail address XYZ and if I vanish she killed me?" That's what normal people do, they don't go on sites and give out their credit card numbers.

Hell yes it's a scam. If someone's asking you to pay 30 bucks for something to meet up with them, they're a moron. You put your credit card info, she has your credit card info. I'd report her on OkCupid.
