Im 24...she's 17...I need help...?

Question

in seriously falling in love with this girl...she is amazing in every aspect and is just the sweeting girl on earth.

I have a few concerns...I live in California...is it wrong to have sex with her? I mean...I don't see the issue here...16....yes I can see that being an issue...but they say its endangering her life if I have sex with her...how am I endangering her by have sex with her...

Also...I want to know what are the local laws are about this...we have talked about sex and we want to do it...but I'm afraid of doing it because of lawsuit becoming involved.

Our love is real. We both love each other so very much...I don't understand...why put someone in jail for having sex with a 17 year old if we both love each other very very much.

I always tell her I want to make her happy more than anything else. I am not the abusive type or whatever...like sex isn't the first thing that pops into my head when I talk to her or think about her...all I want is for her to be happy and that's it...what is so damn wrong with that????

I suggest that you wait til she's 18 because right now she's still a minor & having sex witha minor is illegal. Everywhere. I'm sure that she'll be just as amazing at 18 as she is now. Good luck!

Love and intercourse are both different topics, so being in love does not have to involve sex, & vise versa ( having intercourse one does not have to love ) wait till she is of age before putting the whole relationship at risk - you going to jail

Your personal beliefs or desires are irrelevant. You can yell "But I love her!" all the way to your prison cell and no one will care.
