what toy/s to buy brother for his 2nd birthday?
my little brothers birthday is fast approaching and he will be 2!!
there's such a big age gap between us (he's coming up 2 and I'm 19) I don't have children of my own and doubt I will as I'm disabled so I treat him like my child
back to the point.... I spend around £50 on him but know for a fact he will get more....
he doesn't really like that much.... peppa pig, winnie the pooh, toy cars but he has loads of stuff with those characters and hundreds of cars!
he has a kitchen, lego blocks, books, toy food, balls, ball poppers, trampoline, ride ons, slide, sit in electronic car so I'm pretty much stuck!
I'd rather spend the money on a couple of gifts than just one
can anyone give me some good ideas please, links would be great (UK websites only)
thanks

Now would be the perfect time to start a library for him. Get him several different children's books that you can read to him, and each year add to his collection. Right now you could get the standard ones like Peppa Pig stories, and books like that, but as he gets older, invest in books that will engage his imagination, like 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe' and other books that will really cement his love of reading. Also , you could spend some time reading to him if you don't already, so that he gets into the habit of enjoying reading.
