Yes, you are right. The world has gone completely insane. It's been turned upside down and shaken about, leaving every one dazed and confused. So many lies and so much deception.

Violence and wars have drastically increased since 9-11 and on just about every continent horrible wars are being fought.

Obama's approach has met with no success other than it has allowed the Jihadists to grow stronger, more organized, bolder and more vicious.

ISIS atrocities are no worse than what the NAZI's did in WW2 or what some of the crusaders did centuries ago. The high tech of today just gets the word out faster and the A$$holes take advantage of it to claim their moments of fame and to try to instill further hatred. I'm with those who think the true troublemakers should be swatted like flies, but the problem is they are often blending in with the innocent (That they sometimes slaughter anyway.) I'm not of the opinion to kill them all and let God (or Allah) sort them out

They've always been violent? The world is actually probably more peaceful than it's ever been, even with ISIS, and Al'Quaida.

Technology and information may have advanced, but human nature stubbornly remains the same.

It's more peaceful now than throughout most of history.

We have only two kinds of people on this planet. We have people who love. And, we have people who love to hate. And, it is up to each individual as to which camp they will belong.
