Why are Christians attacked on a daily basis here in the Religion & Spirituality section?

it is all part of the suffering that we go through, it makes us stronger.

Crying persecution again? No-one is forcing you to be here.

But, since I have been nasty towards Christians I can give you an answer, I only speak for myself so other peoples motives may be different.

I find Christianity (and the other religions) to be idiotic, in fact it's more than idiotic, it's a cancer on humanity, I'm sure you probably think it's a wonderful thing but it (and other religions with the promise of some kind of continuation after death) cheapens life.

Christians are vile people that actually think they are good, they proudly proclaim to love the god described in the bible, the god of the bible is an evil **** and anyone that happily follows that are scum.

The stupidity that comes from the Christian camp is an embarrassment to my species. I'm going to stop here because I could go on for pages but it's late and I'm tired.

If you feel I've been unfair there is a comment box, address anything I've written and I will explain why I think it or indeed if you can show me to be wrong I will apologize.

They are defended against and all real Christians know it is not about God, Jesus, the bible or even Christianity but the terrible attitudes and behaviour of the BAD followers towards others!

Look at the intolerance, hatred, bigotry, homophobia and persecution posted on here by BAD Christians!

England's Archbishop of Canterbury has said that Christianity is now known for it's hatreds and not about god!

Christian leaders from around the world have clearly stated their opposition to the "victimization or diminishment" of gays and lesbians, saying demonizing and persecuting them was "totally against Christian charity and basic principles of pastoral care".

Taking one sin to indulge in intolerance, hatred, bigotry, homophobia and persecution will never be acceptable in the eyes of God!

"We say that no one should have to live in fear because of the bigotry of others."

ALL the other religions and atheists live in peace and are ONLY attacked by BAD Christians which causes all GOOD Christians to despair at the damage they do!

The self destruction of Christianity is underway and the only thing that can stop it is to abandon the terrible human emotions, seek to rediscover the idea of a loving god and act like it!

Posts like yours that drive people further away from God are the reason so many DECENT people are becoming ANTITHEISTS!

So who are you working for the devil or the antichrist because it sure ain't the loving god!

The Religion section on Yahoo Answers is a breeding ground of trolls

Every religion is attacked on a daily basis here. Hell even the flying spaghetti monster isn't safe.

Probably for the same reason Atheists, Catholics, JWs, Mormons, Muslims, evolution believers, big bang believers, etc are attacked here on a daily basis. (yes I'm aware that some of those i listed are kinds of Christians, but normally they are attacked by the usual suspects: fundies).

Besides, many fundies are known to have an extremely thin skin, so the bar is pretty low for "attacked" in their book, when it's aimed at them:

I've not seen anyone attacked, here,

with just symbols on a screen

available as weapons.

I just see people agree or disagree with each other,

or very occasionally inform

each other of something one of them didn't know.

because throughout history religion has controlled this world , for the worst, now days they can't kill us for not believing and we want the world to be more intellectual and rational so we can take care of this world , we've all seen what happens when just faith controls our lives

Kinda like how many atheists are attacked by mindless affiliated people like you, even when they're trying to help others.

Disagreement isn't an attack. That said, there are indeed some trolls and even respected users who are hateful towards Christians. But the same is true for Jews, Muslims, atheists, etc.

In other words: welcome to the club.

Because Christians have rejected Jesus and his teaching. They follow the teaching of Paul, the wolf-in-sheep's-clothing.
