    Wanting something abstractly is about a thought or as an idea but not having a physical or concrete existence.

    To want something in the abstract is to want something that has characteristics of or about the same as some image, configuration or concept of in your mind,

    To want something concretely is to have some very specific goal, product, service, or end on your bucket, things to do or shopping list.

    It works something like that, in the abstract, or, should I say, as I see it.
