Why did my Toyota Avalon 2009 lock up. Couldn't turn key or steering wheel or change gears. On flat ground.?

Muscle the steering wheel more. don't muscle the key, it should turn normally when you get the tires to turn to the side far enough.

you cant turn the car on ? this happens with my car sometimes, try pushingl on the wheel so it tilts forward a little and as you do that, turn the key.
