Is feminism just traditionalism except from a female prospective.?

Anytime I hear feminist claim independence I respond that we should get rid patriarchy/traditionalism, completely. Remove the label of men and women and judge each other based off of character, the things we say and do. It's funny because everyone looks at me like I have three heads when this is presented, but I'm a very literal guy and I know feminist base what is equal from what they feel is equal, but not what actually is equal. which is why there equality is bias.

However this got me thinking, feminist/women don't seem interested in dismantling the patriarchy. If a system of true equality replaced it women would no longer be seen as victims, feminism would lose power and support. Seems women would rather re-purpose the patriarchy to benefit women instead.

Now if you look at the patriarchy as the ultimate alpha male this makes sense. It's female nature to extract as much resource from their male counterparts for a better life for women and children. The truth is women still looking for provisions and protection in the form of the patriarchy. Though women claim feminism is about tearing down gender roles and traditionalism... it's really not. It all comes down to relativity and perspective. It's just the same old system except from a womans' point of view.

no you just made up an invention

Patriarchy, like most forms of oppression, has a way of trying to convince us that, in the words of the Crunk Feminist Collective “things are the way they are because they have to be, that they have always been that way, that there are no alternatives and that they will never change.”

From Sojourner Truth, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Susan B. Anthony to bell hooks, Gloria Anzaldúa, and Audre Lorde, people have been resisting this mentality and pointing out another path away from unjust power systems.

Through the rest of this post I’m going to summarize intersectional changemakers’ ideas on:

    The current state of patriarchy

The frames that perpetuate the acceptance of patriarchy

Examples of patriarchy in our current institutions

The main long-term efforts we can take to combat patriarchy

We’re lucky that that numerous changemakers have already clearly demonstrated what we need to do to dismantle patriarchy. Now we just all have to integrate these actions into all of our organizing efforts.

"It's female nature to extract as much resource from their male counterparts for a better life for women and children. The truth is women still looking for provisions and protection in the form of the patriarchy"

“things are the way they are because they have to be, that they have always been that way, that there are no alternatives and that they will never change.”

    - you just restated patriarchy, not exactly an impressive argument

No,,,Because they haven't yet got the male population in lockstep yet. Until then, they will harp and nag on men and the more traditional women. What these radical feminist fail to understand is that chaos and discord is overtaking the timelines they had set for their insane agendas. How can they even think to come to a workable solution when everyone's snarling and spitting invective at each other? Does a woman's perspective include consideration of social decline in the establishment of any neo-traditionalist social constructs?

Feminism is not traditionalism because it doesn't attempt to restrict women to their traditional gender role. But what you have shrewdly noticed is that feminism is increasingly about reinforcing the traditional male provider/protector gender role. The increasing use of incarceration to enforce unpaid child support would be one example of a feminist supported initiative the punishes men for failing to succeed as a provider/protector. Feminism purports to be about equality between men and women, but it has never really pursued that goal. Instead what it has pursued, and appears to be increasingly successful at getting, is freedom from traditional roles for women and a single, prescribed gender role for men.

So basically you want everyone to pretend that history never happened and doesn't have an effect on people today and you don't think that there are still any gendered issues (make or female) at all.

    I think you're an idiot

No such thing as patriarchy in western culture. Feminism is more for selfish women who are hardcore liberals. They are no where near traditional, they're whores and actually look down on traditional women. Feminism or should I say liberals tend to attract ugly women.

I'm sick and tired of hearing about how "oppressed" I am even though I am perfectly free to make my own choices.

That is why I am against modern feminism that creates a toxic victim mentality.

    Let's see:

    They hate porn

They do not like men lusting for them

They support authoritarian and totalitarian measures to combat crimes against women.

    They sound like fundamentalist Christians!

You're right, its not just about tearing down gender roles and traditionalism.

If its through a woman's POV, perhaps more emphasis will be on housekeeping and looking after the planet, rather than destroying which seems to be the main aim for a mans POV of the planet.

    I.E wars? Nuclear weapons?

    Aren't these male creations?

And building artificial things on top of what should be more appreciated?

In so many words, you mean, "is it a matriarchy?" I think that some of them want that. But I also think some of them are scared of that.
