How can I platonically hang out with my crush?
I'm good friends with this one guy who I started having a crush on recently. We've known each other for eight years now, and I wanted to invite him to hang out outside of school. I know he'd be comfortable with it since he's invited me places sometimes (though I never actually go since I'm usually busy), but I'm afraid I'd give something away if we did hang out. And we're both 17, so it's not like it's weird to hang out with the opposite sex at our age or anything.
I really like him and I don't mind if we stay just friends, I just want to be with him more without stirring up anything. How do I go about this?

If you want to continue to be his friend, just stay by his side and act as a great friend. He could eventually come around and come to like you.
If you want to be his actual girlfriend, just tell him upright that you like him. You two are close enough that your friendship won't break if you do that, right?
