Anyway, it's because women can choose to have an abortion or give the child up for adoption, whereas men generally don't have that option. They are culturally expected to take care of the baby, and for the mom to sign up for medicare, if she's not married to the dad, she has to get child-support from him, even if he's already the primary care-giver. With women, it's much simpler. If she doesn't want to be a parent, she either is on birth control, has an abortion, or goes the adoption route. With men, they might impregnate a crazy woman who's poked holes in the condom.

Actually, you're FAR more likely to have one or more children some time in your life if you are a woman than if you are a man.

That is, far more men will never have children, will never get their genes to the next generation, than women. Those that DO, are more likely to have multiple children with multiple women than the other way around. That is, women are far more likely to have children with only one man (but that man may have had children with multiple women).

Some of them didnt have a choice in the matter. They might have wanted sex but that doesn't mean they wanted children. Another reason could be despite making it seem like a woman thing many men are sadly infected with baby fever.

Women have a peace of mind of knowing that should they want children, it is completely within their hands to do so. men do not have this luxery and need to convince someobe to gestate their seed.
