Good universities for film?

Hi so I'm a sophomore in highschool and I'm thinking what colleges I might want to attend, I visited a few colleges up north with my school and I really want to attend up there. I want to be a film editor when I grow up ke as just wondering what colleges universities will be good for that? Preferably in California/northern. And yes I do know that being a film editor is competive.

    The best schools for film in the US are UCLA, University of Southern California and NYU. Two of those are in CA, obviously, but in southern CA. In northern CA, UC Berkeley is a very well ranked film school.

    If you're interested in the technical side of film making, particularly animation, you should also look at San Francisco State U.
