Is the Hippocratic Oath ever analyzed while studying as a medical student?

This oath, assumed to have been written by Hippocrates himself, invokes the highest standard of ethical behavior in any profession. It has survived more than two millennia of historical conflict, social diversification, and medical reorganization. Most medical students graduating from U.S. institutions recite some form of this ancient oath upon completion of their studies.
