Is my cat past due?
My cat has been pregnant quite awhile but I'm not sure of the due date. She was very large but then got quite smaller about a week ago. She has chewed the hair around the nipples and looks like she did last time she had kittens(2nd litter). I never really felt the babies move but I don't remember her getting so much smaller pre birth last time. I tried to just guess her due date based on when she was noticeable and how she acted last time. She was nesting a week or so ago I think but I'm just not sure. I honestly think she should of had them by now. Is there anyway to know for sure if the babies are dead or if something is wrong other than a vet visit? Thanks and before you even answer keep your **** about spay blah blah blah to yourself. I wish your mother would have got spayed before you how's that? That's for the pretentious bunch thanks for anyone with actual answers.

I'm not really sure what to say. If she got smaller, then perhaps she already gave birth outside the home. That is one possible explanation. Try looking for the kittens outside.
If not, then you should really go to the vet and have her checked out. Hope I could help.

It sounds like she might be. If she has been outside it is possible that she miscarried and was outside because she is chewing at her nipple s maybe. But I really don't know, sorry. I'm just throwing ideas around. Talking to a vet might be your best shot at real answers, sorry.
