Traffic ticket question?

I got a seatbelt ticket. I am 17 and wasnt going to tell my parents. I was just going to go and pay the fine. But do they send out a notice in the mail, or like a reminder in the mail? I am just worried because my parents check the mail regularly. This is in the state of Washington. Thanks. Also will a seatbelt ticket effect insurance?

They may send you something in the mail. Just come clean to your parents and tell them what happened. They may be a little angry, but they would be much more angry if they found out that you tried to hide it from them. It shouldn't effect your insurance much if at all.

They do not send anything if the fine is paid before the due date.
