Are you ready for hurricane season?

The only good thing I can say about a hurricane is that it is the only natural disaster that gives you enough warning time to prepare. So - time to start gathering all the supplies you need (cash included) and the information that is critical to start over should the worse happen. Even need to make sure the fur residents are current on vaccines and have their microchip placed. Are you ready?

Update:

It is true that volcanoes do give a warning but no time frame. They could erupt in a few days, weeks or even months later. I was comparing to the tornadoes, floods, fires and other disasters.

Not true, volcanoes give us years of an advance warning, now that it's known how to tell when they are going to erupt. They are more generous than hurricanes, you just don't go in the path of the lava flow.
