Christians do you realize that if you condemn gay marriage you are going against god?

This isn't the old testament that you feel obligated to ignore but the new testament, absolutely with out a doubt inspired by the word of jesusgod.

You are right this not the Old Testaments. Here is something from the New Testaments: Byington Ac 5:29 And Peter and the apostles answered “We must obey God rather than men.

American Standard Version Ac 5:29 But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We must obey God rather than men.

King James Version Ac 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

1Co 6:9 Or do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality, 10 thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

    Who really is against God?

An article written by Alan Todd says Christians are required to discriminate base on the verse of 1 Corinthians 6:14-17. I say that I will love my neighbor as I love myself and I will love my enemy and I will give to him but I will not conjugate or make any type of friends with unbelievers. You are either born against Christian or you are of this world. For my first commandment is to love my GOD with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my will and strength. I will always for ever. Psalm 1 says, Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly nor standeth in the way of the sinner nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

If your context is correct, then we are ALL wrong! Do you realize that we or the United States is (from your own standard) is in violation of Romans 13 !? over 200 years ago the Bibically authorized Governemt was England !! we revolted !! get it? was not England the Governing authority then? so was not this nation founded upon a Violation of Romans 13?!!!!????

Romans 13:1-7 states, “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.”

This passage makes it abundantly clear that we are to obey the government God places over us. God created government to establish order, punish evil, and promote justice (Genesis 9:6; 1 Corinthians 14:33; Romans 12:8). We are to obey the government in everything—paying taxes, obeying rules and laws, and showing respect. If we do not, we are ultimately showing disrespect towards God, for He is the One who placed that government over us. When the apostle Paul wrote to the Romans, he was under the government of Rome during the reign of Nero, perhaps the most evil of all the Roman emperors. Paul still recognized the Roman government’s rule over him. How can we do any less?

The next question is “Is there a time when we should intentionally disobey the laws of the land?” The answer to that question may be found in Acts 5:27-29, “Having brought the apostles, they made them appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. 'We gave you strict orders not to teach in this Name,' he said. 'Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man's blood.' Peter and the other apostles replied: ‘We must obey God rather than men!'“ From this, it is clear that as long as the law of the land does not contradict the law of God, we are bound to obey the law of the land. As soon as the law of the land contradicts God's command, we are to disobey the law of the land and obey God's law. However, even in that instance, we are to accept the government’s authority over us. This is demonstrated by the fact that Peter and John did not protest being flogged, but instead rejoiced that they suffered for obeying God (Acts 5:40-42).

Since when did you become a spokes person for God?

You need to read where he has offered you eternal life and forgiven you

of all your sins. That would do you more good than trying to be a judge

    against Christians.

Christians are obligated to stand in opposition to those things which are against God’s Word, so they are obligated to stand against homosexual marriage. This opposition can be manifested in different ways such as a verbal declaration, written word, voting, etc.

The secular world disagrees with Christianity and, therefore, stands in opposition to it in many areas. As secularism gains philosophical influence, social permeation, and more political power, it will eventually persecute those who stand in opposition to its man-centered principles and man-centered morals. This is what happens in secular based governments--just see secularist Russia in the 1900’s that killed many millions of Christians.

Anyway, homosexuality is against God’s declared arrangement of marriage. Christians should pray for the redemption of the homosexuals as well as the repentance.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in RIGHTEOUSNESS. 2Timothy 3:16. Romans 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

Your faulty argument does not stand when man's law goes against the word of God. Romans 13 is referring to governmental authorities who are in obedience to God.

The Supreme Court has ruled against the doctrine and teachings of God in the case of homosexual unions. God defined marriage, the Supreme Court does not get to redefine it, since none of them self-created.

We can all try and change the scriptures to suit our sinful nature and justify our evil ways.. we can cherry pick so we can read into it what we want, so that it appears to be correct if it suits us...

the fact is God condemns sin.. all sinners, whether they are liars, drunks, adulterers, cheaters, or sexually immoral (that includes sex outside of HOLY marriage and yes homosexuality) and we are all born this way! its not just homosexuals that are born that way.. we all have the sinful desires in our hearts... The only way to change is to give it up to God and allow Him to change our hearts... so that we might be saved... that means to repent of our sins and turn to Christ for salvation... not the the "authorities who tell me how to think and talk and act "wrongly"

Read the last few verses in Romans 1 and down to Romans 2 where it says God is calling all to repentance, it says if we condone sin then we are also guilty also plus elsewhere in the Bible it says there blood is on our hands for not telling them the truth (Jesus is the Truth).
