Bed bug problem?
I've been fighting a bed bug problem in my apartment. I've been doing everything I can think to do. Spray. Vacuum, Use dryer to kill any in my clothes, bedding, etc. The treatment from the landlord has done little, or in a case has made it worse. Its to the point that as soon as I can find a new apartment, I am gone. How do I NOT take the bedbugs with me when I move. HELP!

Dear Letter Writer,
If you want to move and you don't want to bring the bb with you call (for quotes) an exterminator at least 60 days before you want to move. You need professional help and this is going to take some planning. Its not necessary to throw out all your stuff. I recommend interviewing at least 4 before you spend your money. Some of them are little more than laborers and some of them actually understand the bedbug lifecycle and what their weaknesses are. In my state exterminators must have a professional license.
Have you told the landlord that the extermination did not work? Most of these exterminators have a warranty saying that they will do the treatment again if the first time does not work.

I have the same problem. At least my landlord is ok and call and exterminator, this still doesn't work it helps but they come back. I have through out my box spring sofa, I wash my bedding clothing do everything bough strong poison it only helps but doesn't rid em, I have had to buy a high power steamer, I steam everything but yet has not rid them. The exterminator has come about 10 times already. There ******* to get rid of. They cost me a fortune in stuff I through out steamer I bought. Sometimes I couldn't sleep nights. The landlord should be calling and exterminator.

If the bedbugs are really that bad, you WILL take them with you. Bedbugs are not a problem someone should try and take care of themselves. A licensed pest control operator needs to be contacted ASAP. This problem will spread to other units.

It's not your landlord's problem unless you are renting a furnished apartment. The bedbugs are caused by YOU.

you've got to give it all up and before you even enter the next place.. even leave your clothing behind.
buy new clothes and change what you're wearing THERE then you can ensure you have done all that you could.
