Is there no place for a hopless romantic in this modern world?

there is a bueatifull greek girl in my class and she has me capsulated. I dream about her all day and get a wif of her hair shampoo when she walk buy. Well it hurts me to see greeks are sufering so bad with money at the moment and i wabt to impress her mom so i take a few bag of goods to her mom. Just some canned tomatoes. Some salt and some olive oil. Some carrot and a lofe of crusty bread. When i nock at the door her mom look at me funny and then her papa come to the door and have a raging fit saying they dont need my help. But i see when my papa watch the news everyday greeks are having a crisis. I just wanted to impress the mom so win her daurters heart!
