Anyone have an explanation for clothes feeling tighter?

My weight and measurements are unchanged. My diet and exercise routines are unchanged. I don t look or feel heavier. Definitely not pregnant. What s the deal? It s summer here, and I know fingers sometimes swell up, could it be swelling?

Update:

Water retention makes sense.

I've had the same washer/dryer for years now, but maybe it could be the dryer? We have very harsh winters here so I could see where the dryer could take longer reaching a higher temperature, so maybe being summer, the clothes are getting a couple more minutes of heat :/

Or maybe I have an enemy taking all my clothes in while I sleep. That makes sense too.

Probably water retention,it can happen for lots of reasons like hormones, too much sodium and not drinking enough water which leaves you a little dehydrated and your body holds onto water as a result which is common in summer for obvious reasons, also any kind of sickness can cause it too, even a cold can leave you retaining water.

If your weight and measurements are exactly the same then it is not an increase in body fat so it has to be water assuming you haven't shrunk all of your clothes in the laundry which is highly unlikely of course.
