No, it is not. But it is a phase, and during the time people are in that phase, it can seem true.

is atheism true ? usually the question is god true or real .
so do you mean by true real ?
Well let me consult MY Bible ( the book) it actually guides my life it actually has more Knowledge and information on more subjects and words than any other text it really helps to clear things up
an encyclopedia runs a close 2nd
,,TRUE defined as being in accordance with the ACTUAL state or Conditions conforming to REALITY or fact REAL REAL defined as Actually Existing as a THING or occurring in FACT NOT imagined supposed asserted or Claimed
Atheism can be defined as Without theism or no belief in gods
, What is BELIEF defined as to accept something as true .
Here is a question . If you ACCEPT something as True Does it MAKE it TRUE?
can you accept something as true and find out later it was False .
In the sixties in elementary school I was taught Columbus discovered the New World
, I believed it , but we have found New FACTs that says that is not true
. Did I believe it , was it false yes and no not at the time because we based it on the documents we had at the time or recorded history but we have new methods and science called archeology
To be an atheist one simple asks for the god to be presented ,
I as an atheist , Do not accept theist claims of gods
Atheism is a RESPONSE
Now religion can present their evidence , defined as simply ANYTHING presented in support of an assertion.
So what they present the usual things they say to make a convert or to their members to maintain them.
. I am the one they may wish to convince but because It is I who need convincing I set the Standards of what would convince me SHOW the GOD
. If a god exist it would first be a thing an INDEPENDENT ENTITY . so one can toss off the bible
if god exist it would be SELF EVIDENT , independent whether the bible existed or not ,
one would not require the bible . if you require the bible then all you have are words on a page of people making claims 2000 to 3500 years ago
Is atheism true Today it is , til someone shows that Independent Entity not dependent on anything else no book claims self evident , not the earth , trees wind or fire... thanks

Atheism is the default position that everyone should start from. This position is to withhold belief in a claim until it is justified through credible evidence and is the most honest position a person can have. The funny part is that people accept this the best way to deal with a claim with everything except their gawd claim but even the most devout theist is an atheist in regard to every other gawd claim that they have ever heard except the one they were raised to believe. In reality "atheists" just reject one more gawd claim that even the pope. Hope this helps.

Atheism isn't a claim
so it doesn't have a truth value.
That is like asking if a particular rock
is true.
Rocks make no more claims
about hypothetical deities
than atheism does.
Atheism is just
the absence of theism.

If you want to play semantics then atheism, just like theism is a position of belief.
Semantically "Is atheism true", only requires that atheists exist, just as theism only requires that theists exist, since the manner in which the question is written only requires that BELIEVERS exist. This does not mean that the beliefs are true, only that there exist people who believe them!

If you take the advantages of it or of anything, that be true, but the bad no, may you can suppose that the atheism be the subject which study the physic laws of the existence. in the life you must at sometimes to force yourself to take the truths, that may obliged, thus the Allah be fact, then you must accept it, unless, you will don't success. and the Allah is good person and deserve the divinity.

It's not a true-or-false proposition. It's merely a rejection of claims that gods exist due to lack of sufficient evidence. But you already knew that, you're just baiting people into dead-end arguments.

No, not true; *right*.
The truth is about there being something or not. There is no god, and that is true.
That makes atheism *right*.

Beliefs can be true or false, but atheism is a nonbelief, not a belief. Calling atheism "true" or "false" is a category error.

Atheism is not a belief or doctrine. You probably mean Antitheism; it's false, or it wouldn't need to make up such nonsense in support of its doctrine.
