Did I break/sprain/dislocate my toe?
I was running with my dog in my backyard when I slammed my toe into a tree stump. My toe swollen, bruised, and hurts with a dull pain anytime it moves slightly. It is also numb and it's felt this way for a couple hours now.

You should get medical attention because a jammed toe can be badly broken and lead to problems if not treated.

A toe will hurt if it is broken. I have brozen two of mine and you can't put on regular shoes with a broken toe. It hurts too much. You have to wear sandals for 6 weeks until the break heals. I don't know why yours would be misshapen and red but not hurt. See a doctor. Does it hurt at all to move it?
