Anyone have their dog start itching after exposure to a citronella candle?

    No, I never had that happen. I use a citronella spray collar for bark control sometimes and my dog has no trouble from that, either. Maybe your dog picked up some fleas or has an allergy?

    I wonder if its genuine citronella (whatever that is!) and is just a cheaper perfume?

    I started her on Benedryl and am using spray we got from the vet the last time she had skin issues.
