Please help - best friend cut me off?!?
Me and this girl have been best friends for 16 years. She started getting close with this other girl (whom nobody likes and is a bad person and bad influence) and started telling me lies and talking about me behind my back. I confronted her and she just ditched me as a best friend and replaced me with her new bad person bad influence friend. I have always been there for her and have always been a good friend, can someone please help me with reasons as to why this happened? What should I do? I do miss our friendship but at the same time I don't know if things will ever be the same.
It is also kind of weird, we have a few mutual friends whom she pretty much pushed away and nobody really talks to her anymore except her new best friend (the bad person/influence aka bad p/i) and her bad p/i's other shady friends.

Don't do anything, but be there when she falls. You voice your option once and unless its life threatening or illegal you just say okay, and that you will be there. Then you let them be.
