Is there a way to filter out questions by user name?

Update:

It would be nice to be able to filter out known trolls.

There is no feature for that. It would be a programming nightmare since each user would want to filter out 500 different users. Now one option they should consider is an "Anonymous" filter. That would be fairly easy.

Are you kidding? With yahoo's search? You'd be lucky to find daylight with yahoo's search feature!

It is, and has been one of the worst on the internet. It has been mocked to death (as many other 'features' of yahoo answers) on other websites.

I'd love to be able to filter out trolls...and other things on this site, but unfortunately it is not possible with yahoo's kindergarten web-code.

None that I know of unless the user has an open history.
