From what I have seen, it appears not - his character is not specifically listed (so far). But I am wondering if Max von Sydow is taking that role, he is in the movie but his character has not yet been listed. He could do that.

He might but he's be a ghost. In episode 6 return of the Jedi he yoda and anakin are ghosts.
