Is it safe to touch someone after they've been electrocuted if they've been thrown by the shock and are no longer touching the current? I'm writing a story and am trying to keep it realistic.
Also would the shocked person twitch or be still after they've received the high shock, assuming they aren't dead.

If you're certain that they are clear of the electrical conductor, it's safe to touch them.
The victim may or may not be alive, and may or may not move or twitch. There's a decent chance of burns, and the smell of burnt flesh or clothing.
