They are just fairy tales, the facts show that we all evolved from lower life.

They populated the earth that's why Jehovah God created Eve as well so that Adam would not be alone and so they can populate the earth. And then there children will populate the earth and so on and so that's why we all are descendants of Adam and Eve. They started the population.

If "incest", that is, the marrying of brother and sister, is the concern related to your question, it was established as a sin by the laws of Moses (Deuteronomy 27:22). While seemingly a lesser offense than parent-child incest, it is technically also a problem because of the probability of passing on birth defects. These defects are buried in our DNA. Interestingly, first cousin marriages do not substantially raise birth defect probabilities. Ergo, not incest. When two siblings carry the same defect (in their DNA), there is a higher probability of the offspring being born with that defect. Adam and Eve had perfect DNA. They passed that perfect DNA to their children - and so on. And, they and their descendants lived for about 900 years because of that perfect DNA. Why is that? DNA damage (defects) are due to environmental causes.

We can assume that when God first created the earth that it had no chemical agents that would damage DNA. Since the creation, man has been able to concoct all kinds of DNA damaging chemical and radioactive cocktails. Another "natural" source of DNA damage is due to the UV (ultraviolet light) radiation that comes from the sun. Note that the Bible says that it had not rained on the earth during the entire time from Adam and Eve to the flood. The atmosphere was changed as a result of the flood. This was borne out by rainbows first appearing after the flood. Until then, the earth was covered with a dense moisture "canopy" which inhibited the harmful UV rays of the sun.

Thus, man's originally perfect DNA was protected until God changed the atmosphere which caused man's age to be limited to 120 years. Now, DNA was exhibiting defects as a result of the excessive UV radiation exposure. Thus, "incest" or intermarrying of siblings was ultimately prohibited as a "sin" when God rendered His "laws" through Moses, even though one of the "practical" reasons was to promote healthy offspring. Incest between offspring and parent was always sin for at least the reason that it was adultery.

    No its a myth.

The first parts of Genesis, from the tale of Creation through the tales of Adam and Eve, the Garden of Eden, the Tower of Babel, the Great Flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Wars of the Kings in which Abraham was involved -- are all based on earlier Sumerian records.

The origin of the Biblical seven days of creation is almost certainly the seven tablets on which the Enuma Elish was written. This is evident from the contrast between the first six Babylonian tablets describing Marduk’s acts of creation and the seventh tablet which is dedicated to a general exaltation of the god (and thus a parallel to the Biblical seventh day when God rested).

During the last one hundred years, tens of thousands of clay tablets have been excavated in ancient Mesopotamia (modern day Iraq) dating back to 6,000 years ago. Archaeological and linguistic studies trace the origin of the Elohim concept to a Babylonian epic text known as the Enuma Elish, which deals with the creation of the heavens and Earth by a Babylonian God named Marduk. There is amazing similarity between Genesis and the Enuma Elish except that one credits the creation of heavens and Earth to God, whilst the other credits it to Marduk. The Hebrew exiled in Babylon, were influenced by the Enuma Elish, which had been the most sacred Babylonian ritual text for over a thousand years.”

The story is not about the fact that the first humans were "Adam" and "Eve". It is about man becoming fully human when he developed a conscience (ate from "the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil"). Man alone makes virtually all of his decisions and technological advancements based on what could be called a "moral" choice between good and evil. Unlike animals we are not satisfied with the status quo, but always strive for what is better.

Because it was like you said Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Sorry, I saw the opening and couldn't help myself.

OOOHHH sorry, I see what your talking about now. I can only assume it has to do with the Watchers. Keep in mind the term "Son of Man"

To answer that you have to know God. What is God and how the world was created. Two ionized microbes coalesced to create another and so forth to create a living thing that beat with one heart, the trinity. Once the heart was established it grew to create a mouth and lungs to breathe etc. They were magnetized, irradiated because of the atmosphere and grew fast created from the earth.

I suppose you think it makes a lot more sense that a single common ancestor spontaneously generated and populated the world and evolved into all the different life forms?

    The technical terms are

    - doing the horizontal hula

    - moving

However, some might refer to these things as

    - sexual reproduction

    - dispersal
