Without checking, what percentage of Americans are atheists?

Based, just on my own acquaintances,

I would say about 20%.

But lots of them won't tell most people

they are atheist.

Perhaps they are saving it for a big surprise.

last i heard it was about 3% and depending on whether satan worshipers are atheists too, about 4 million people. it could be as high as 10%

its a recent survey which says 90% of americans still believe in the constituion, but only after include 3 or 4 groups in the ultimate figures.

and it depends on who is taking the poll. there is Bias in all non christian polsters. and it depends on the questions and how they are asked.
