Question for Nurses or other medical professionals?

I intend on starting my nursing prerequisites this fall, but in the meantime, what are some sort term, inexpensive medical certificates or classes I can take? For instance, I m interested in enrolling in a CRP and First Aid class. Thank you, any advice and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I guess the question I would ask back is why you would want to spend your money on these when they are included in your nursing curriculum. And they won't lead to a job.

I don't recommend you take either until the nursing program tells you that you need to.

If you are looking for something to put on your resume, Phlebotomy and CNA are usually the shortest courses. If you are looking solely to earn money, waiting tables or doing commissioned retail will make you far more money.

    Good Luck!
