    So she's Luke Skywalker's brother and she detects when Han Solo got killed via the Force but I never saw her using the force in combat or anything like that.

    Because she chose not to be, in order to spend all her time rebuilding the political structure of the republic and be one of its leaders. Jedi can't hold office.
