Why does prayer never work for amputees?
Lots of people have been cured of cancer and other diseases by praying to Our Lord Jesus Christ, but I've never found any record of an amputee regrowing a limb. My uncle was injured in the first Gulf War and lost his left leg below the knee. He has prayed daily for a new lower leg since then, but nothing has happened yet. Why not? why can god cure cancer but not regrow a leg? Lizards can regrow their tails!
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoShould some US states be merged?
I think several states could be merged so that government will be more efficient. I suggest Vermont + New Hampshire, Rhode Island + Connecticut, Maryland + Delaware; Alabama + Mississippi; South Dakota + North Dakota; Montana + Idaho + Wyoming.
Likewise, some of the larger states could be split into multiple states: California, Texas, and Florida could each be split into at least two states.
Puerto Rico could be upgraded to a state, while Alaska would become a territory (like Guam or American Samoa).
The Upper Peninsula of Michigan could be sold to Canada to reduce our national debt, or perhaps merged with Wisconsin, which is a more natural geographic alignment.

Scientific studies show that a strong correlation exists between number of guns owned by a male individual, and penls length, with those having short penii possessing the most guns. Why is this the case?

5 AnswersOther - Politics & Government4 years agoIs AMWAY a scam?
My friend asked me if i wanted to join AMWAY. I said i don't really know what that is, and he said it was a business venture & he made lots of money about it. So i told my Mom and she said, "oh, stay away from that!". So I said to my friend "i'm not interested, thanks anyway". Then he got real mad and said, "you'll be sorry, jerkface!" and stormed off. So the next day i found these strange drawings stuck under my car's windshield wipers - drawings of a person being stabbed and bleeding. And a few days later two of my tires were flat one morning, and later that day there were two men (i did not know them) wearing suits and sunglasses following me down the sidewalk. I called my friend and asked if he knew about this stuff but he just laughed and hanged up the phone.

I want to raise some chickens for eggs and maybe for meat, also. Can I just buy some eggs at the store, incubate them (keep them warm), and have them hatch into baby chicks?

Or are they metamorphic? I'm quite certain they're not sedimentary. Maybe they are not any of those.

6 AnswersZoology6 years agoWhat alphabet has a letter shaped like an upside-down "V"?
we are trying to identify a coin that has lettering in what appears to be a cyrillic-related alphabet, but there is one character I cannot identify - it looks like an upside-down "V", or capital "A" without the middle horizontal bar. I don't see this character in any of the cyrillic alphabets I've looked at.
The character is presumably neither "А" nor "Д", as those appear elsewhere on the coin.
