What is the full process for emancipation?
My friend wants to get emancipated, and she needs the whole process and the links to all of the forms that she has to fill out. We want her to be emancipated by June 1st at the very latest. Does anyone mind helping me?

A. Your friend has to ask for herself. This isn't something she can have you do. If she doesn't have the wherewithal to ask on her own behalf, no judge will ever emancipate her but instead, if finding her parents unfit, will put her in foster care.
B. The process, no matter where you are, takes too long to be finished by June 1, but her reporting to social services that her parents are unfit, which is what she would have to do, might get her removed and sent away to a foster home or institution before then. You would not likely get to see her again until all of the investigations and issues were resolved through the courts, which could be late summer or even into the fall, but only then if she were either awarded emancipation or her parents were found fit. If she were denied emancipation and her parents were found unfit, she would find herself in the foster care system until age 18 or high school graduation, whichever comes later.

Your friend is not going to get emancipated. The reasons are:
1. She's getting a friend to ask random people on the internet for information she could find out for herself by googling it. Being emancipated means acting like an adult. Adults know how to find out things they want to know.
2. She thinks it's a matter of filling out a few forms. There are no forms. People wanting to get emancipated have to go to court. If your friend doesn't know that going to court requires a lawyer, she's not mature enough for emancipation.
3. She thinks it's going to happen between now and June. That's the most ridiculous part of all. A request for emancipation, IF ACCEPTED by the court, can easily take a year to process. Hers won't be accepted because she has no clue how to go about it properly.
4. You don't mention this in your post, but has your friend even made sure there is such a thing as emancipation in her state? Not all states have a process for emancipation.

What state is she in?
You should know that it is extremely rare that it is granted. She has to prove that she has a job (not will get one) that pays enough to fully support herself (no living with friends) while finishing high school. Support includes rent, food, utilities, insurance (health and car), car or other transportation. She has to prove she is mature enough to understand and handle leases and other contracts and make life decisions. She needs to understand that she is doing a big F-U to her parents. So if she wants to go to college, she will be stuck. The assumption for financial aid is that her parents will help her until she is 24, whether or not they will. The break in the family is almost unrepairable.
And she has to have an excellent reason. Not liking rules is not good. Wanting to be with a BF is not good. Mommy and daddy abuse me is not good (because it should be reported to child protective services instead). Usually it is financial issues that will allow it - with parents trying to rip off money earned by the child who has an adult level job.
You can google emancipation and your state and you will find websites that tell the requirements and if it's a court website, the forms.
Not sure if it will happen by June, depends on the courts. It also depends on her age. She would have to be at least 16 or 17. Again, it depends on the state.

Emancipation takes a good year and thousands in legal fees. It won't happen by June. It won't likely happen at all. Not all states allow teens to emancipate either.

Not going to happen.
It takes years to become emancipated. Ariel Winters case - she's an actress - took 3 years.
Your friend can't be bothered to look into this herself, so she wouldn't be a good candidate. You have to be able to do things on your own.
If she's being abused, or she's pregnant, or a dropout, this all disqualifies her.

It's not going to happen. Does she live in a place that allows it, and meet the age requirement? Is she self supporting?

Law and Regulation Questions
Laws are different depending on where you live. When asking questions about law, you need to state the applicable city, county, state, and/or country. If a regulation you may need to give program name.

She FAILS the PRIMARY requirement. If she can't find out ONE HER OWN, she isn't anywhere NEAR independent enough for emancipation.
