Why are Evangelical Christians so sexist?

I swear this is the most ridiculous thing I've read in awhile - http://entrustedministries.com/blog/look-away-my-s...

These women are teaching their sons that they are dirty if they look at a woman in a bikini or a picture of a model in underwear. Women wear bikinis to swim, to stay cool, to get a tan, whatever. I guarantee it's not for the purposes of corrupting your son, lady. And if you don't like the underwear store ads then don't take your kids into the underwear store. If people are buying clothes they usually like to see pictures of it on a model. That way I know how those VS panties might look on my @ss instead of just on the rack.

I mean, this isn't reality how these people are thinking! Why not teach your sons that women are PEOPLE who have the right to wear whatever they want as long as it's not violating the law. Maybe teach your sons that women wear swim suits because they want to go swimming not because they want to corrupt your purity? This is like how they think in radical Islamic nations that we're freaking fighting against.

This is simply based on the fact that the religious right equates skin, female skin, to sex period and supposedly sex is to be kept under strict control. Besides moms can try instilling discipline in their sons all they want, but the moment they get away to college they will still have posters of topless beach babes on the walls of their dorm rooms. Or simply go to the beach a look at the girls all they want. When I was in college every other guy had Estella Warrens famous topless pool shot on the back of his dorm room door. When I was in Miami several years ago I sunbathed topless on Miami Beach like a lot of girls do. While I was on the beach, two young Jewish males, with curls, black hat and clothes, came onto the beach laid out a towel and simply sat there and looked at the girls for over an hour. Evidently there is some sort of Orthodox Jewish college there in Miami Beach. You can try and train guys to be civil but it only goes so far when the temptation is right there in front of you.

Women wear bikinis for one reason: To look sexy and alluring. So I fail to see why you call us sexist for pointing out that these women are accomplishing their goal to the very intentional detriment of those who would rather not deal with that distraction. You can look sexy all you want so long as you don't shove it in my face. Because the moment you do, it becomes sexual harassment. Do you want that charge on your head? I don't think so.

So teaching your sons to not leer at women and be respectful of women's bodies is now the new anti feminism? Wow, you need note cards to keep this all straight!

Hey, does that mean telling our daughters that she can dress as skanky as she wants because if men leer at her, it is their fault? But wait, men are now supposed to stare at women because not looking is bad.

And we wonder why men and women are having harder and harder times relating to each other......

I read the information in the blog you linked to. They don't say anything that you claim they say.
