Need help starting a mask?

Update:

So I'm thinking of being Koneko-chan this Halloween but that mask is tricky. I know how to build the teeth BUT what I'm confused on is what would I use for the base and/or how would I make that? It's tricky because I'd need to see, so I was thinking of something made of mesh? Is it possible to make a full face mask from mesh or a mesh-like material? Any suggestions are appreciated. (:

If you want to make a mask, the easiest way to do it is to make a paper mache mask. Tear newspapers. To make this paste, mix together 1 part flour to 2 parts water. Add a couple of teaspoons of cinnamon to make it smell better. Mix in a bowl until there are very few lumps left. You want it to be runny like a white glue, not thick like paste. Add more water or flour as necessary.

Slide the newspaper strips through the paste and get it wet but not dripping. Place it over a form such as a balloon or a mold of chicken wire. Let it dry for at least a day. You can then pop the balloon if you used one for the form. Once it is ready, you can paint it with any design you want.
