If God is so loving, why doesn't he raise from the dead those killed in his name?

Would it not send a clear message to those who think they serve him through murder that it isn't the way?

    As the only person on Yahoo! Answers who has read the bible, I remember it mentioned something about those people... but I also forgot what it said.

    Something about them waiting for something, or something....

    We often pay close attention to our sins of commission while leaving unnoticed our sins of omission. If you could have saved the life of someone starving in Africa but didn't, that persons death is on you. If God were to raise them up, how many of them would come to your door?
