anyone know how to train a dog to use the bathroom indoors?

I will be leaving for college soon and usually I am the only one home to take my dog out to do its business. Any tips on how to potty train her indoors? She is a beagle and she is 11 years old

No. You shouldn't train a dog to potty indoors. Besides, at 11, its going to be difficult to train her to do anything, especially something that goes against instincts. Your parents will figure a potty routine for her around their schedule.

No. I have always taught my dogs to be clean and do their business outside. At 11 years old, your dog is not going to crap in the home. He's just not. He's been a good clean dog all his life and now your asking him to be dirty.

if your dog is trained to go only on grass then get a crate (big ones for playing in) and try to get some of those puppy "pee-pee" pads and put a few bits of grass on them and make the whole floor filled with that she will have to go poop or pee sooner or later, when she does giver her a treat, there are plenty of videos online using that method just look it up :^)
