I want to go home next weekend but mcdonalds schedules me to come in for work every single weekend. I want to ask for two days off but I don t want to sound rude. Should I just not go home or should I ask for those days off?

It looks completely normal but it feels like a have a black eye. It has been like this for 3 days now

Every website I go on to rent or buy textbooks asks me for the ISBN number or the authors name, but my school only provided me with a course number and when I type that in, multiple books come up so I am not sure which is the correct one. I want to purchase my books ahead of time so I can look into them before classes start but I am so confused.

I am trying to rent some books for my classes and the due date to return them is december 19. I am confused because I thought I would be taking these classes for the whole year which would mean I need these books during the spring too.

I know that some classes don't use textbooks or make them mandatory to bring, but I am worried that they won't be delivered on time and that I will have to end up buying them at my college bookstore which is really expensive.

I turn 18 on august 19 however, I will be attending college two days after that. I know I will need a debit card so that my parents can send me money and so that I won't have to worry about people stealing my cash. I won't have any time that weekend to go open up an account because I will be packing and buying things for my dorm. Do you think the banks will allow me to open one up?

Ever since I was in the 3rd grade I have been fascinated by pregnancy and how the body changes. In the 6th grade, it was mandatory for the girls at my school to take a small course on periods, sex, and pregnancy. Ever since then I knew I wanted to be an Ob-Gyn doctor. Now I am a freshman in college. I had a long talk with my mom about my future and she told me that she doesn't think that a being a doctor is right for me especially since I would have to attend school for another 10 more years. Recently, she has convinced me to become a physicians assistant. I was really into the idea since I could just become an Ob-Gyn's physician assistant, however my mom does not want me to work under an Ob-Gyn. She wants me to work under like an anesthesiologist or someone who performs a lot of surgeries so that I can get paid more. I understand that she wants the best for me, but the only reason why I even want to become a physician assistant is to work with an Ob-Gyn other than that I have no interest. I also don't think its right to choose a job based on how much you get paid. You should be passionate about your job. Am I right or is my mom right?

I am going to be a freshman in college in the fall. I am studying to be a physicians assistant and I looked up the admission requirements in order to get into most physician assistant programs and they require that I have 1,000 hours of clinical experience/volunteer work. When is a good time to start?

My mom and my friends have noticed some things about me and I am starting to feel like most of the symptoms match the symptoms for depression. I hate to leave the house and I like to be alone. I have a lot of mood swings for no reason. Some times I feel very down and I dont like to talk to anyone about my problems. Sometimes I don't even know why I'm sad, but I just am. Does this sound like depression?

I have started to go to the gym everyday and I always run on the treadmill. I run about 3-5 miles a day, however I don't run continuously. I have to walk every fifteen minutes. After my workouts I have noticed that my ankles are really sore. I am 5'3" and 153 pounds. I am a little overweight for my height. Is that the reason why my ankles are sore or am I running in a weird way? My ankles aren't swollen or anything just very sore when I walk

I love science and I have ever since elementary school, but I am really bad at math. I know as a bio major math is really important. I am considering to change my major to psychology.
